fountainibPoll does not correctly report packets/sec values

It appears that fountinibPoll is reporting the same or near the same values for packets/sec as bytes/sec.

port couters inactive: 0
total symbol errors: 65544
current HCA send bandwidth: 9.275 Kb/sec 180.913 packets/sec
current HCA receive bandwidth: 9.205 Kb/sec 180.144 packets/sec
current Switch send bandwidth: 1.651 Gb/sec 1651205669.829 packets/sec
current Switch receive bandwidth: 1.651 Gb/sec 1651189041.056 packets/sec

when running ibv_rc_pingpong, I get performance results like 6741 Mbit/sec, but fountainibpoll shows this: 

current HCA send bandwidth: 215.549 Mb/sec 835307.108 packets/sec
current HCA receive bandwidth: 215.547 Mb/sec 835299.978 packets/sec
current Switch send bandwidth: 7.538 Gb/sec 6468911873.393 packets/sec
