Fountain Documentation

General

The Doxygen documentation for Fountain is a good place to look for low level documentation about the code.

We have also had a paper about Fountain accepted to the 2006 IEEE International Conference on Parallel and Distributed Systems. It is available here.

My thesis is also a good source of documentation about the design of Fountain, it can be downloaded on the ECpE department archive website: http://archives.ece.iastate.edu/archive/00000259/ or from the following URL: http://www.scl.ameslab.gov/Projects/Fountain/

Usage

Fountain consists of three classes of components:

• Fountain Server
• Fountain Daemons
• Fountain Clients

Consult the individual wiki page for each component for more detailed information, or the component man pages for detailed usage information.
