Fountain Network Monitoring

Fountain currently supports monitoring InfiniBand networks using the OpenIB stack. It seems like expanding this support for monitoring multiple network types (and thus allowing Goanna to be used for such networks) would be a reasonable thing to do.

Alternative InfiniBand stacks

A place to start would be adding support for additional InfiniBand stacks, such as Silverstorm's.

Additional network systems

It would be nice to add Ethernet monitoring. Maybe also Myrinet?
