Goanna Issues
Goanna hangs with recent NVidia drivers
There seems to be a bug in the recent NVidia graphics drivers for Linux (specifically version 100.14.11). This causes Goanna (and sometimes X) to go into a high-CPU loop and cease responding for extended periods, sometimes indefinitely. Older (1.0.x series) drivers seem to work just fine.
GL view doesn't redraw on Mac
There seems to be a bug somewhere in the accumulation buffer support when running on Mac. To get around this, choose "None" or "Multisampling" for the antialias mode in the 3D settings in Preferences.
Topography object selection doesn't work
The X11 r300 drivers for certain ATI Radeon cards do not have a working implementation of OpenGL feedback and selection. Therefore, to be able to interact with the topograpy view on one of these cards, direct rendering must be disabled. See http://gtkglext.sourceforge.net/reference/gtkglext/gtkglext-running.html for details on how to force Goanna to use indirect rendering.
